Jessica Simpson In T-shirt Suit

APRIL 7--So what does it take to get Jessica Simpson to slip into one of your t-shirts? Budget about $140,000. During a recent video shoot, the ditzy singer's clothing choice was a paid product placement, part of a six-figure promotion deal negotiated last year by her New York marketing reps. But claiming that she has never been paid, Simpson, 23, last week sued a New Jersey company for breach of contract. According to her U.S. District Court complaint, a copy of which you'll find below, Simpson agreed to wear a t-shirt bearing the logo of Motorock (an auto racing company) during the video shoot for "With You," a cut from her current platinum album "In This Skin." In the above video grab, Simpson is seen warbling with the Motorock logo emblazoned across her chest. According to the contractual agreement, Simpson also agreed to other related promo work, including a one-hour performance at last October's Grand Prix of Puerto Rico (which was eventually cancelled). When TSG reached Mike Zaccaro, owner of 4 Dog Productions, the New Jersey company Simpson has sued, he declined comment, saying that he had not yet seen Simpson's lawsuit. (5 pages)
