Texas Teen On "No Nookie" Probation

SEPTEMBER 30--In a unique bit of Lone Star jurisprudence, a Texas judge recently ordered a teenage defendant to abstain from sex, barred the girl from getting new tattoos or piercings, and prohibited her from wearing 'clothing associated with the drug culture.' When Christina Brazier appeared before District Court Judge Lauri Blake (pictured at right) for sentencing on a cocaine possession rap, the 17-year-old was given a laundry list of dos and don'ts by Blake. Along with having to pay court costs and a fine, Brazier was ordered to submit to a drug/alcohol evaluation, according to the below conditions of community supervision filed in the Fannin County courthouse. And then there were the other, far more interesting, sentencing terms involving tobacco, body modification, and sex 'while enrolled in school and living with parents.' We're not sure how Blake plans on enforcing her no-getting-busy edict. (2 pages)
