When Heidi Fleiss left federal prison last week for a halfway house,
we found ourselves reminiscing about other famous whoremasters. So The
Smoking Gun dug up these excerpts from an entertaining deposition once
given by Sydney Biddle Barrows to the President's Commission on
Organized Crime. Dubbed the "Mayflower Madam" because of her blue
blood lineage, Barrows ran Cachet, an upscale New York City call girl
ring (until, of course, cops raided her bustling shop). Here, Barrows tells
federal investigators about the ABC's of her pricing plan and the
trouble with Arab johns. (6 pages)
