Honest, TSG would love to stop examining the
backgrounds of these reality-TV contestants. But every
time we try to get out...they keep pulling us back in!
Today we're looking at Hardy-Ames Hill, fan
favorite/resident heartthrob on CBS's "Big Brother 2."
Hill's rap sheet features an arrest in York,
Pennsylvania for driving under the influence. Hill,
31, had a blood alcohol level of .196--nearly twice
the state's legal limit of .10--when cops busted him
at 2:20 AM on February 4, 1999. As these Common Pleas
Court records show, since Hill was a first-time,
non-violent offender, he was placed into the state's
Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program, which
allows for criminal charges to be dismissed if a
defendant meets a variety of ARD conditions. In
November 1999, Hill was placed on probation for one
year, fined, directed to perform 35 hours of community
service, and ordered to attend "DUI classes" and a
"victim impact panel." His driver's license was also
suspended for one month. According to court records,
Hill--who now works as a bouncer in Miami--has not
applied to have the DUI bust expunged from his record.
