We were cleaning out The Smoking Gun HQ the other day when we came across these assorted Jimi Hendrix records.
Along with a copy of his rap sheet, we've included a couple of documents filed in New York City's Surrogate's Court following the musician's fatal 1970 drug overdose in England. With a paternity claim pending, lawyers were left to conduct an (unsuccessful) overseas plasma search to try and prove their claim. Another filing features some square attorney's wonderfully stilted description of the guitar virtuoso. (4 pages)
