John Allen Muhammad nicknamed his teenage cohort "Sniper," according to a federal criminal complaint filed today (10/29) against the 42-year-old Beltway shooting suspect. The complaint, which charges Muhammad with 20 felony counts, is accompanied by a probable cause affidavit which includes a laundry list of items found in the car in which Muhammad and 17-year-old Lee Boyd Malvo were arrested on October 24. The material included a Sony laptop, gun ammunition, two "shooting mittens," a global positioning system, a Nascar Road Atlas, and a "1 gallon jug of yellow liquid." If convicted of the federal charges, Muhammad could face the death penalty. (12 pages) Click here for more documents on the alleged Beltway Sniper. Join TSG's mailing list. |
