Rapper Wanted For Obscene Stage Show

South Carolina prosecutors issued an arrest warrant Wednesday (3/5) for rap star Luther Campbell, charging him with promoting obscenities during an October 2002 performance at a North Charleston bar. According to this affidavit, the former 2 Live Crew frontman put on an explicit show that included naked women, audience interaction, and a beer bottle. And just in case the cops might have missed any of the dirty details, Luther was kind enough to videotape the show, with plans to sell it on his web site. Dorchester County Solicitor Walter Bailey told TSG that if the 42-year-old Florida native doesn't turn himself in, it is unlikely he'll seek to extradite the raunchy rapper, but "He'll be banished from South Carolina. He can run around the other 49 if he'd like, but not here." (2 pages)
