One might say Veronica Smith had a real fertile imagination. Until her September 29 bust, the 22-year-old Smith worked as an assistant in a Lake Worth, Florida pharmacy. In this arrest affidavit, police allege that Smith, who as a child lived in foster homes until her adoption, dispensed a torrent of abuse at pharmacy clients undergoing fertility treatments. According to news reports, Smith was upset that these prospective mothers chose conception over adoption. (4 pages)
