frosty welcome in Canada, has also run into some trouble further south.
The Federal Communications Commission has hit the so-called King of All
Media with a $6000 fine for allegedly broadcasting indecent material.
Stern's spiels, aired over his flagship New York station (WXRK),
have also resulted in FCC actions against his affiliates in New Orleans
and Richmond. Here's the FCC letter apprising Stern of the new fine
and transcripts of two of the broadcasts cited by government officials.
Since Stern's bosses have previously paid $1.7 million to settle a host of
