| | On September 11, a federal judge in California unsealed a 47-page
psychiatric report on Theodore Kaczynski, the admitted Unabomber.
Prepared by Sally C. Johnson, a Bureau of Prisons doctor, the January
1998 report is a remarkable account of Kaczynski's madness. The
following excerpts from Johnson's report include Kaczynski describing
how he once considered a sex change, dreamed of killing psychiatrists,
and failed to maintain relationships with women. In addition,
Kaczynski speaks of his prison suicide attempt (hanging by underwear).
