Here at The Smoking Gun, we usually don't do requests. But since "X-Files" fans insist on deluging us with pleas for documents on Mulder and Scully, we have decided to relax our policy just this once (so stop bugging us). But if you conspiracy/UFO/extraterrestrial fans are expecting some hot stuff, we might disappoint. That's because we decided to post the dumbest "X-Files" document we could find. Below you will find a New York City traffic ticket once issued to David Duchovny. But the actor was not in a car when a cop pulled him over. Duchovny was pedaling a black bicycle when he glided through a steady red light on Sixth Avenue in Manhattan. Records show that Duchovny, like any good New Yorker, never bothered to pay the fine. Cheers to you Dave, but be careful when you return here from California for a visit. New York mayor/tough guy Rudolph Giuliani (seen recently in a dress and support hose on "Saturday Night Live") might be waiting at the airport with a pair of handcuffs. (1 page)
