Audience member claims she was trampled during race for seats

JANUARY 5--A woman who claims she was trampled during a scramble for seats at a taping of the Oprah Winfrey show is suing the TV star's production company. In her lawsuit, a copy of which you'll find below, Tanya Milner charges that she was pushed down a flight of stairs by fellow audience members at Chicago's Harpo Studios prior to an April 2006 taping. Milner, whose Cook County Circuit Court negligence lawsuit does not detail the exact nature of her "severe and permanent injuries," seeks unspecified damages. (8 pages)
