TV's ShamWow pitchman was busted after violent row with Miami hooker

MARCH 27--So who was the TV personality who posed for the mug shot following his (previously unreported) arrest this year for felony assault?

Well, among the more than 1000 entries we received, the top vote recipients were actors Jeff Conaway, Hugh Laurie, Ryan O'Neal, Sean Penn, Luke Perry, and David Hasselhoff. Additionally, TV nuisances like Ty Pennington, Gordon Ramsay, and "Puck" from MTV's "Real World" scored many votes.

But the man in the mug shot is actually Vince Shlomi, better known as the ShamWow guy from those ubiquitous TV commercials. Shlomi was arrested last month following a violent dispute with a prostitute in his Miami Beach hotel room (click here for all the details).

Several dozen contestants correctly identified Shlomi, many of whom we suspect benefited from the detective work of Fark.com's brilliant sleuths. We'll pick five names from among these correct entries, and those contestants will get their choice of a DVD of "Milk," "Slumdog Millionaire," or "Quantum of Solace."
