Comedian Artie Lange was busted at Melrose and Vine in 1996

NOVEMBER 20--Today's "Friday Photo Fun" contest required entrants to examine the below Google Street View photo and determine what celebrity was arrested there for cocaine possession.

More than 850 readers submitted entries, which included the names of every celebrity who has ever had a scrape with the law (whether or not drugs were involved). Such as Robert Downey Jr.; Andy Dick; Lindsay Lohan; Mischa Barton; Danny Bonaduce; Christian Slater; Mike Tyson; Nick Nolte; Lil Wayne; Tatum O'Neal; and Todd Bridges. Other votes went to Kim Kardashian and "Hannah Montana," neither of whom, at press time, has been nabbed for narcotics possession.

The actual coke fiend was Artie Lange, the comedian/Howard Stern sidekick. In November 1996, Lange was arrested at the corner of Vine Street and Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles (in front of a Pavilions supermarket). At the time, Lange was a cast member of Fox's "Mad TV."

Five names will be drawn at random from among the scores of correct answers (many of whom were Fark-aided), and winners will each get their choice of a title on The New York Times fiction or nonfiction best seller list.
