After examining/goofing on the license plate follies in states like Florida, Wisconsin, and Washington, TSG decided it was time our home state got a little attention. So here's a sampling of correspondence we obtained from New York's Department of Motor Vehicles regarding citizen complaints about offensive tags as well as DMV attempts to rescind plates already issued.
