Will Release Of Obama's Purported Birth Certificate Give Rise To New "Certer" Movement?

This morning’s White House release of President Barack Obama’s long form birth certificate will, of course, do little to derail the “birther” movement, which will now analyze the document with the kind of verve previously directed toward those Texas Air National Guard memos faxed to CBS from that Kinko’s in Abilene.

So here’s a few nutty points about the birth certificate sure to be seized upon by the nonbelievers:

• If the original document was in a bound volume (as reflected by the curvature of the left hand side of the certificate), how can the green patterned background of the document's safety paper be so seamless?

• Why, if Obama was born on August 4, 1961, was the “Date Accepted by Local Reg.” four days later on August 8, 1961?

• What is the significance of the smudges in the box containing the name of the reported attendant?

• David A. Sinclair, the M.D. who purportedly signed the document, died nearly eight years ago at age 81. So he is conveniently unavailable to answer questions about Obama’s reported birth.

• In the “This Birth” box there are two mysterious Xs above “Twin” and “Triplet.” Is there a sibling or two unaccounted for?

• What is the significance of the mysterious numbers, seen vertically, on the document’s right side?

• Finally, the “Signature of Local Registrar” in box 21 may be a desperate attempt at establishing the document’s Hawaiian authenticity. Note to forgers: It is spelled “Ukulele.”

I understand your point perfectly. My point is that if he was conferred natural born status by his mother, why did he not present a valid birth certificate upon request? Administrators and doctors at Coast Provincial General Hospital stated that in 2004 a high-level team of Kenya's National Security Intelligence Service came to the hospital and seized all files containing birth certificate documents from the years 1960 through 1963. Very suspicious.
It is interesting, perhaps even slightly suspicious. I'm not a fan of coincidences, but they happen. Also, this is Kenya we are speaking of. In the same time frame, their government was tracking and killing political "dissidents". Basically people like you and me who disagree with people in power. Searching hospital records would be likely. (Nazis did it a lot.) Is it possible that all of this is some elaborate plot? Sure. But it is far more likely that the guy just didn't want to deal with it and figured people would drop it; Occam's razor. Remember, John McCain was born in Panama - NOT a US territory, and no one questioned his citizenship. His parents are Americans, they just don't live in America.
Timmi-the "high-level team of Kenya's National Security Intel so-called Service" is not to be compared with having the same integrity of any US Strategic/Tactical Intelligence and or National Security Agency, unit or group...those Kenya fellows can be easily bought off by anyone for God know what purpose. Hate to say it but Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Pakistan and even Israeli National Security organizations cannot be trusted...I hate to sound like an isolationist..just reality
I do not disagree. Why that hospital and why those years? If not for all of obama's past being so secretive, it would be no issue. The man is keeping his past secret, and people who have accomplishments display them, they do not hide them.
I beg to disagree, read the Constitution.
The Constitution contains the term Natural Born Citizen, however nowhere in the Constitution is a definition of this term found. According to U.S. Statutory Law records, "The requirements for citizenship, and its definition in American statute law, have changed since the Constitution was ratified in 1788. Congress first recognized the citizenship of children born to U.S. parents overseas on March 26, 1790, stating that "the children of citizens of the United States, that may be born beyond sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens". I am not giving you my opinion but rather quoting the opinions issued in legislation and judicial proceedings.
Stella it's time for you to repeat your mantra...about voting for Obama and you being an idiot.....Come on..we're waiting for it...
Liberals can read history and learn nothing.
Ancient history for a Liberal is the 1960's.
ronindave - I think the ultra right conservative neofacicsts are having trouble with your name because the never studied other cultures. They think it means Ron and Dave rather than Ronin Dave.
