What Is Donald Trump, Newborn Birther, Trying To Hide From Us?

What is Donald Trump hiding?

The multimillionaire developer has, overnight, become a leading voice of the “birther” movement, members of which doubt that President Barack Obama was born in the United States (and, thus, is unable to produce an authentic U.S. birth certificate).

“It’s inconceivable that, after four years of questioning, the president still hasn’t produced his birth certificate,” Trump told Newsmax. “I’m just asking President Obama to show the public his birth certificate. Why’s he making an issue out of this?" To prove how easy it was for a household employee to find his birth certificate, Trump, 64, crowed, “It took me one hour to get my birth certificate.”

As seen above, he provided the conservative web site with what he purports to be his birth certificate.

Except the document is not an official New York City birth certificate, but rather a document generated by Jamaica Hospital, where Trump’s mother Mary reportedly gave birth in June 1946. Official birth certificates are issued (and maintained) by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Office of Vital Records.

So, what is Trump trying to conceal?

On a possibly related note, Jamaica Hospital has been the recipient of significant financial largesse from the Trump family. In fact, the Queens institution includes the Trump Pavilion, a nursing and rehabilitation facility that was named for Mary Trump.

[If The Donald wants to hunt in his sock drawer for the official birth certificate, he should look for a document that includes an official Department of Health stamp and resembles city forms like ones used decades ago, like this or this.]

Romney obtained political office in the US and yet was born in Mexico, Arnold Swartzeneggar was an illegal alien, married into the Kennedys, got a green card, citizenship and became Govenor and yet not one peep from the Republican party...John McCain was born in the Panama Canal zone, was not a natural born US citizen, but derived citizenship as a child of both US citizen parents born in the Canal Zone after the established cut off date. Tea babbgers are silent about this one as well...racism is in their pursuit to vilify an honest president that big business nor big money can easily buy like the rest of the Republican Congressional members.

Although I am a progressive Democrat and would NEVER vote for Romney (even though I am a Mormon), and I DESPISE the tea-baggers, I DO know the facts. Mitt Romney was NOT born in Mexico. He was born in Michigan. When polygamy was made illegal many years ago, MANY of the Romney family MOVED to Mexico where polygamy was NOT illegal. As the years went by, many members of the family returned to the USA. So - although Mitt has relatives in Mexico, he was NOT born there.

Why do you DESPISE Tea Party members? How can you DESPISE thousands, if not millions of people you have never met or spoken with? I guess being open-minded and tolerant isn't important to democrats anymore. Prejudice and hatred is the way to go today, apparently.

It is only in the Constitution the President, not Govenors or elected politicians, be a natural born citizen, John McCain was born on US soil deemed by the US base there at the time. I am black. There is no racism on my part, only a search for the truth.

Ok. What I don't seem to understand is why it so damn hard to get legit birth certificates. Someone stated that if they lost their driver license they couldn't use their birth certificate for identification. Well here in Texas if you loose your license you can bring in your birth certificate and social security card with proof of address and get through the process. I have had the same birth certificate for years. Replaced one time because the other was just to old and hard to read. What the heck is the deal with getting your real birth certificate. This is an issue that should not be an issue. I mean darn can we get some real news.

A birth certificate isn't designed or intended to a means of identifying that the person presenting it is the person named in the birth certificate, it's only a certification of the facts of birth eg the date and place. That's why you need to supply something else in addition to a birth certificate in order to identify who you are. Obama's COLB is a 'real' perfectly legal birth certificate, it's just not the type that nosey individuals would like to see.

Wrong, what I stated was I couldn't use a hospital issued birth document. I had to use my Department of Vital Statistics, certificate of live birth. Two very seperate and different documents. It does make a difference. And this news has been trying to come to light for over 3 years.

I'm not upset with Obama being President, but the law does state you have to be a natural born citizen to be President. Way before he was elected into office, there were many people trying to obtain and get proof, to the point of filing FOIA requests and filing lawsuits to obtain the truth. A hospital obtained birth certicate is not considered binding. If you loose your driver's license and go to the DMV, they will not accept a hospital issued birth certificate as proof of who you are. Only a state issue, seal stamp will do. Trump is only seeking the truth...as I and many others are...
