Dominick "Donny Shacks" Montemarano

Today's entertainment report:

1) While "The Daily Show with Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz" has a certain ring to it, the Comedy Central star is going to permanently stick with Jon Stewart, his more familiar stage handle. On June 19, the 38-year-old comedian and his wife filed this joint name change application in New York State Supreme Court. Considering the possibilities (like this or this, for example), "Jon Stewart" seems like such a safe choice. (4 pages)

2) TSG loves that luscious Elizabeth Hurley is stepping out in Beverly Hills with Dominick "Donny Shacks" Montemarano, a member of New York's Colombo crime family. After serving a lengthy prison stretch for racketeering, Montemarano, 63, decided to go Hollywood instead of returning home to Brooklyn. Hurley, who used to date whore-loving British fop Hugh Grant, produced the horrible 1999 wiseguy comedy "Mickey Blue Eyes." In case she hasn't figured out her new guy's pedigree, here's an NYPD organizational chart and two FBI informant reports from legendary snitch Gregory Scarpa. Hope they're enlightening, Liz. (3 pages)
