Capitol Gunman's Legal Dispute

Last week Russell E. Weston ran into the U.S. Capital and killed two men,police say. But according to these documents, his anger and worries about government conspiracies had been burning for quite some time. Weston alleged that in 1983 Dorothy Cole, his eighty something landlady, took her cane and struck him in the face, causing him to leave Montana and commence a $2.5 million lawsuit against the woman. He also claimed that local authorities refused to prosecute Cole because the "Sheriff had received several expensive pieces of mining equipment from Dorothy Cole. "Eventually, his case was dismissed.
