Daddy Nixes Paris Hilton Sex Tape Deal

ASSAULT: James Brown in domestic violence bust

JANUARY 27--It's an offer Paris Hilton's father will probably want to refuse. Rick Salomon, the 22-year-old heiress's former boyfriend and co-star in that grainy green video, has offered to settle a lawsuit he's brought against the Hilton family--if only Paris's papa would just agree to allow Salomon to distribute the sex tape on a "pay-per-view basis." In a January 15 Los Angeles Superior Court filing, Hilton lawyer Heather McCloskey branded the Salomon settlement offer "beneath contempt," adding that the indecent proposal was sent to Rick Hilton "through a third party," who is not identified in a defense motion filed earlier this month. An excerpt from that document is reproduced below. Martin Singer, Salomon's attorney, told TSG that the reported settlement offer is "an absolute fabrication" by the Hiltons, who are attempting to "besmirch my client." Last November, Salomon sued the Hiltons for $10 million, claiming that he had been slandered by family members who accused him of improper (and possibly criminal) conduct in filming the raunchy romp. Salomon also has vehemently denied the Hilton contention that he orchestrated the tape's sale to an Internet porn outfit that subsequently chose not to distribute Hilton's bravura performance.
