Illinois Gunman's Theft Indictment

This is the 1999 indictment filed against William D.Baker for stealing engine parts from the Illinois factory where he once worked. On February 5, the day before Baker was to begin serving a five-month prison term for the theft, he returned to his former plant, a Navistar International facility in suburban Chicago, and went on a shooting rampage. Firing an AK-47, the 66-year-old Baker killed four employees and wounded four others before taking his own life. (9 pages)
