MARCH 17--Florida prosecutors today dropped all 12 counts of possession of child pornography filed against R&B singer R. Kelly in January 2003. According to the below notice filed in Polk County, the decision by Circuit Court Judge Dennis Maloney last Thursday to suppress photographs allegedly showing the singer having sex with an underage girl meant "the state cannot prove this case without the evidence." The 37-year-old star still faces 14 counts of child porn in Chicago. (5 pages)
