Along with Stanley Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut," has there been a film more anticipated than "Fartman," Howard Stern's superhero epic?
That's probably why Stern--who announced last week that he's finally bringing his gaseous radio character to the big screen--made sure to trademark the valuable Fartman name.
As these U.S. Department of Commerce records show, Howard applied for the TM in October 1992 and got it approved in August 1995 (pages 1-4). And he didn't stop there. The King of All Media owns the TM for the name Howard Stern as well (pages 5-9).
But as far as we can tell, "Bababooey" remains unregistered. (9 pages)
