Two Thumbs Down

1) Here's a small suggestion for CIA Director GeorgeTenet.

2) During a U.S. military training exercise inHonduras, a helicopter crashes, killing everyoneaboard. An Army "notification officer" is thendispatched to break the bad news to the father andbrother of one of the dead soldiers. That's the plotof "Notifying the Hostile Next of Kin," a ratherstrange Army training film obtained by TSG. The flickfeatures two surly white guys (the "hostile next ofkin") who appear to live in a Southern shanty, and ablack Sergeant First Class (the "notificationofficer") who is actually called "boy" by one of theshack dwellers. All that's missing from thisproduction (stills from which are below) are a coupleof cuts from the "Deliverance" soundtrack. Just pushplay:
