Government prosecutors today (3/28) filed this notice of intent in United States District Court, indicating that they would seek the death penalty against Zacarias Moussaoui, the 33-year-old charged with conspiring with Osama bin Laden, hijackers, and others to commit the September 11th attacks. Earlier this month, Justice Department officials suggested that they would likely seek to have Moussaoui executed, when they sent out a letter to those who had lost family members in the attacks.
