On April 30, 1945, with allied troops closing in on Berlin, Adolf Hitler committed suicide in his underground hideout. Here's a fascinating account of Der Fuhrer's final days provided to U.S. Army intelligence officers by a Red Cross nurse assigned to Hitler's bunker. In this declassified report, Erna Flegel, 34, disses a "colorless" Eva Braun, recounts Hitler poisoning his own dog, and tells how the Nazi leader was kind enough to share his bathtub with the Goebbels children.
