JULY 29--Although it may appear so, the perp who leads off this week’s mug shot roundup is not sporting a red yarmulke. The Idaho man, 28, was booked Sunday on a battery charge. As for his fellow alleged troublemakers, some notes:
1) Busted Monday for possession of an open container and public intoxication, you can’t help but admire the ability of the South Carolina man, 41, on page #3 to get anything--much less alcohol--past the metal brace covering his face; 2) The pink-haired Georgia man, 27, on page #4 was collared yesterday for battery; 3) Arrested for prostitution, the 23-year-old Illinois man on page #6 certainly knows how to strike a pose; and 4) The Florida woman, 80, on page #11 was busted Tuesday for manufacturing marijuana. The octogenarian told cops she was growing the pot plants in her backyard to help her son with his heart condition. (14 pages)
