Wilkes-Barre Duo

JUNE 26--Several hundred visitors to a Pennsylvania park were treated to an X-rated performance early Thursday evening when a couple engaged in a series of sex acts “in close proximity to a playground,” police charge.

Cops were dispatched to Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre around 7:45 PM after receiving a report about a “male and female engaging in sexual acts” near the softball field.

When a pair of officers arrived, they spotted Jacqueline Getz, 31, performing oral sex on Kyle McClure, 29. “Several witnesses,” a criminal complaint notes, subsequently approached police to report that Getz and McClure “were having sexual intercourse, oral and digital sex” in public.

Police allege that, “Several hundred people were present in the park and observed” the amorous antics of Getz and McClure. The witnesses, cops added, included many children since “the acts were being performed in close proximity to a playground.”

Some parkgoers provided police with “both video and picture evidence” of Getz and McClure “clearly engaging in sexual behavior offending many individuals present in the park.”

Getz and McClure (pictured above and below) were each charged with indecent exposure, open lewdness, and disorderly conduct. They are scheduled for a July 6 preliminary hearing on the misdemeanor counts. McClure is a Wilkes-Barre resident, while Getz lives in Edwardsville, a neighboring borough.

In addition to live sex shows, the 52-acre Kirby Park (seen above) offers visitors tennis and volleyball courts, a fitness trail, walking paths, and a pond. The park is also the setting for Wilkes-Barre’s Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. (2 pages)
