Following her arrest, Curry (who was carrying a loaded gun in her purse when she stabbed King) was questioned extensively by police. Here's a portion of a transcript of that interrogation, during which Curry claimed that King was somehow attempting to "torture" her. "After all," Curry explained to the cops, "if it wasn't him it would have been me, he was going to kill me."
