After killing Versace, Cunanan abandoned his stolen truck in a nearby parking lot. When police searched the vehicle, they found a variety of personal items (checks, credit cards, movie stubs from a Manhattan theatre) as well as records linking Cunanan to prior murder victims Lee Miglin, a Chicago businessman, and William Reese, a New Jersey cemetery worker.
