In a 1998 lawsuit, former clubhouse attendant Paul Priore claimed that he was harassed and taunted by several Yankees (including Fenway stomping suspect Jeff Nelson) who called him "faggot," according to this excerpt from the complaint filed in New York's State Supreme Court. The club denied the charges and said that Priore was canned for theft--not, as he claims, because of his HIV status.
