Queen Latifah '93 Rider

Queen Latifah

Back in the day when she was just a rapper, Queen Latifah--now an established Hollywood star--apparently had some fun on the road.

Her tour contract required promoters to stock her dressing room (at soundcheck) with "1 Dozen Lifestyle or Rough Rider condoms." Latifah (real name: Dana Owens) also made it clear she inhabited a swine-free zone: "There is to be no PORK in the food or vicinity of Queen Latifah."

And as for that 12-piece bucket (with biscuits) of KFC, the performer viewed the chicken as strictly an appetizer. "Kentucky Fried Chicken," she noted, "is not considered dinner." (5 pages)
