$150 Hooker For Senator's Husband

APRIL 2--The husband of a United States senator recently admitted to cops that he paid a 20-year-old hooker $150 to perform oral sex on him at a Michigan hotel. Thomas Athans, the 46-year-old spouse of Senator Debbie Stabenow, was confronted by police on February 26 after departing the Residence Inn in Troy (investigators had been surveilling the hotel after receiving reports that hookers were operating from Room 1822).

According to a Troy Police Department report, a copy of which you'll find here, Athans told detectives that he set up the sexual encounter after responding to a Craigslist ad. While Athans was not charged in connection with the illicit hotel tryst, Alycia Martin, 20, was hit with a prostitution count.

Martin told cops that she was a stripper who had only been "doing this for one week." Cops seized condoms, K-Y jelly, and a "pink marital aid" from Martin's hotel room. Martin is pictured in the above mug shot, which is next to Stabenow's official Senate portrait.

Athans, who married Stabenow, a second-term Democrat from Michigan, in 2003, is founder of TalkUSA Radio, a liberal radio network. As first reported by the Detroit Free Press, johns were also drawn to the Residence Inn by an advertisement placed on backpage.com, an online classifieds site. That ad, which you'll find here, noted that a "sweet sexy provider" offered "100% satisfaction" for $225 per hour. (4 pages)

Her husband was caught doing to that hooker what the Senator has been doing to the people of the State of Michigan for years. I hope in 2012 the voters realize that they, arn't even getting a dinner or a kiss before hand before that are asked to assume the position again.
