Oklahoma Man Arrested With "Sexy Referee" Costume In His Pants

Meet Matthew Dixon.

The 27-year-old was nabbed Friday night for shoplifting a Halloween costume at Oklahoma City’s Party Galaxy. He allegedly removed the costume from its packaging and “concealed it inside his pants,” according to an Oklahoma City Police Department report (he was spotted doing this by an off-duty uniformed cop working security at the store).

The item recovered from Dixon’s trousers? “One Sexy Referee Costume” valued at $34.99. The three-piece Leg Avenue costume--comprised of a halter dress, socks, and a whistle--is pictured at left.

While en route to jail, Dixon said that he had “alcohol issues” and, after being sober for six months, began drinking that evening. He remarked that he “always makes bad choices when he drinks.” It is unclear whether Dixon planned on wearing the sexy referee outfit or intended it for someone else.
