Bob Ross Fan Behind Bars On Narcotics Raps

Suspect in message t-shirt when cops pounced

JUNE 21--If you are going to get arrested while wearing a message t-shirt, you could do a lot worse than one adorned with a photo of Bob Ross and one of his folksy maxims.

As seen above, when Arkansan Cody Kutchfar, 22, was busted yesterday he was wearing a t-shirt featuring the star of “The Joy of Painting” and a quote attributed to the late landscape evangelist.

“Ever make mistakes in life?” the top of the t-shirt asks. Though cut off in Kutchfar’s booking photo, the quote concludes, “Let’s make them birds. Yeah, they’re birds now.” A complete version of the shirt can be seen here.

Kutchfar was collared by Bentonville cops Thursday on a felony narcotics possession charge and a misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia count. He is being held without bond in the Benton County jail due to a previous “mistake in life.”

In July 2017, Kutchfar pleaded guilty to multiple felony firearm theft counts and was sentenced to four years probation. So in addition to the new drug raps, he will likely face a probation violation charge.

Kutchfar, the father of a four-year-old boy, has recently worked as a forklift operator.
