Bush Backer Gored In Florida Jail

In politics of personal destruction news, it's probably a good idea to keep your presidential preferences private if you find yourself bunking in the charmingly named "Housing Pod K" of the Leon County, Florida jail. That's where inmate William Hampton got assaulted after noting how happy he was that George W. Bush was White House-bound. While the majority of U.S. prisoners are, of course, registered Republicans, not every jailbird is a Dubya fan. As this arrest affidavit shows, inmate Kenneth Cooper took offense at Hampton's GOP leanings, and allegedly filibustered his fellow con. Perhaps the warden should ban "Hardball"and "The O'Reilly Factor" on prison TVs--those rowdy shows can put bad ideas in a prisoner's head. (3 pages)

Wow, Britney was real convincing in those Pepsi spots.
