Clown Busted In Sex Attack

JULY 9--A Mexican street clown--arrested in full face paint--was booked Wednedsday on a sexual assault charge

Pedro Artega Velazquez, 53, was juggling on a Juarez street corner when collared by cops in connection with the alleged assault of his teenage stepdaughter. Velazquez posed for this mug shot, which was released by the Chihuahua state attorney general's office (along with a press release, in Spanish, about the case).

Juarez, a border town across from El Paso, Texas, is the violent epicenter of the country's narcoterrorism plague. Velazquez is the latest suspect to be nabbed with something (besides guilt) on his face.
