BUSTED: Al Gore's son arrested in pot stop
DECEMBER 23--White Stripes frontman Jack White was charged yesterday with aggravated assault for his alleged throttling last week of a fellow Detroit rocker.
The 28-year-old entertainer, whose mug shot is at left, was hit with the misdemeanor count in connection with a December 13 brawl with Jason Stollsteimer, a singer/guitarist with The Von Bondies. Stollsteimer, 25, told cops that an "enraged" White pulled him to the ground and punched him "on right eye approx. 7 times" during a tangle at a Motor City concert.
According to this warrant, White faces up to one year in jail and/or a fine of $1,000 if convicted of the beatdown. (1 page)
