7-Eleven employees deserve hazard pay
NOVEMBER 6--A Florida Man who apparently mistook a 7-Eleven toilet for a Ritz-Carlton bathroom was arrested yesterday for striking a female clerk in the face with a wad of his chewing tobacco due to the 
convenience store’s “lack of toilet paper,” cops charge.
Investigators say Dolten Albert, 40, entered the Pinellas Park business around 8:30 AM “to utlilize the bathroom.”
Seen at right, Albert subsequently argued with the victim, Razia Sultana, “over the lack of toilet paper,” according to a criminal complaint.
As recorded by a security camera, Albert “gathers a wad of tobacco from his mouth and throws it at the victim, striking her in the face.”
An officer who responded to the 7-Eleven reported that Sultana had “remnants of the defendant’s spit and tobacco on her face and clothing.”
Charged with misdemeanor battery, Albert was booked into the county jail. He was released this morning after posting $1000 bond.
According to court records, Albert’s rap sheet includes convictions for passing bad checks; marijuana possession; theft; driving with a revoked license; and careless driving. (1 page)
