Mark David Chapman, who murdered John Lennon, posed for the above New York State Department of Correctional Services mug shots in December 2003 and in March 1998. He is also pictured in a New York Police Department photo taken after his arrest in December 1980. Sentenced to 20 years to life in prison, Chapman has been denied parole every two years since he became eligible for release in 2000. He is presently locked up in the Attica Correctional Facility.
