    Meet Tiffany Giummo.

Ohio cops yesterday recovered a whopping 47 heroin-filled balloons that had been hidden inside the 20-year-old woman’s “body cavity.” Acting on a tip that Giummo was traveling to Columbus to purchase heroin, a Delaware County Sheriff’s Office deputy pulled over a car in which she was a passenger.

During questioning, Giummo admitted that she “did in fact have heroin inside her body and would retrieve it for the Deputy,” according to investigators. The hidden stash resulted in Giummo, pictured in the above mug shot, being jailed on a felony drug possession charge.

A 56-year-old man who threatened to shoot a neighbor with whom he was quarreling apologized to police for his inartful choice of words, saying that he should have instead warned the man he would “bitch slap” him.

The confrontation Monday morning between Dennis Fredrick and Francis Lindbergh, 61, stemmed from a year-long feud that began with a dispute over payment for yard work outside their Florida homes.

When police arrived to interview the men, Fredrick admitted that he threatened to shoot Lindberg. But as reported by a sheriff’s deputy, “Dennis said he was sorry he used the wrong words, he should have told him he would bitch slap him.”

Who knew we were so civilized?

In light of the White House announcement today that post-mortem photos of Osama bin Laden will not be made public (until, of course, they are eventually leaked), here is a video flashback to the days when the U.S. military regularly spiked the ball.

The military once filmed the execution of American enemies (by hanging and firing squad) and distributed the footage for use in newsreel reports that were often shown in theaters before feature films.

Below you’ll find three such examples, all of which TSG found at the National Archives in College Park, Maryland.

The man responsible for the tagging of the wall of Osama bin Laden’s Pakistan compound is a 56-year-old educator who advertised a “girls college” on the residence of an extremist who did not believe women were worth educating.

In a telephone interview from his Pakistan home, Iftikhar Ali Shah told TSG that two years ago he hired a sign painter to advertise Jamia Girls College, which he planned to open in Bilal Town, the Abbottabad neighborhood where the al Qaeda boss resided (until, of course, he was killed during a U.S. raid Sunday).

As seen above (and here), the sign painter stopped near the entrance to bin Laden’s compound and added an extensive pitch for the school, along with several contact numbers and a web address. Shah said that he did not believe his sign painter sought anyone’s permission to tag the 12-foot wall of the terrorist’s hiding place.

Shah said that he was eventually unable to open the college in Bilal Town because local government officials ruled that the school could not operate in a residential area. Shah, who said he holds a master’s degree, added that he continues to run a school he founded more than a decade ago and which has about 200 enrolled students.

Since he was unable to open Jamia Girls College, Shah said the school’s corresponding web site (jamiagirlscollege.com) was never built. But Shah added that he was pleased to learn that at least one of his painter’s signs had survived.

A passenger who was flying from London to New York is facing a federal criminal charge after he allegedly placed his hand up the skirt of a flight attendant and “grabbed her genital area” and “began to run his fingers back and forth,” according to an FBI agent.

The incident, which occurred Thursday on a British Airways flight bound for John F. Kennedy International Airport, resulted in the arrest of Iurii Chumak, 53.

In a misdemeanor criminal complaint excerpted here, FBI Agent Thais Canin reported that the flight attendant has just provided coffee to Chumak when she turned away from him to serve other passengers across the aisle in row 42. As she “bent over slighty” to pour coffee, Chumak allegedly groped her.

A second flight attendant, Canin added, saw Chumak “grab the first flight attendant’s genital area” and immediately approached the passenger and placed him in restraints. The second attendant told the FBI that a male passenger had previously complained that Chumak--drinking from a bottle of Dewar’s--had “bothered and verbally abused” his wife.

When questioned by federal agents after the plane arrived in New York, Chumak said he “was drinking on the airplane, fell asleep, and woke up in restraints.” Chumak appeared Saturday in U.S. District Court for arraignment, and was ordered held on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer.

In the absence this morning of any stories about Charlie Sheen’s antics or Kim Kardashian’s jeggings, the gossip site TMZ has been directing its attention to Osama bin Laden and fallout from the terrorist’s killing.

To that end, the latest exclusive from the site--which, like Time, CNN, Fortune, People, and TSG itself is owned by Time Warner--focuses on the question of whether President Barack Obama had “victory sex” with his wife Michelle following last night’s announcement that bin Laden had been killed.

Because, as TMZ editor Harvey Levin, 60, wonders, “is there a more powerful aphrodisiac” than hunting down the planet’s most wanted man? Levin, a former television journalist, helpfully includes a yes/no poll asking, “Victory sex?”

While not privy to the inner workings of Levin’s successful checkbook journalism operation (or his carnal delights), we’d guess that he enjoys some “victory sex” after breaking another big story about Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband.

The above grid of images of the victims of the September 11 attacks was prepared by federal prosecutors handling the case against “20th hijacker” Zacarias Moussaoui.

Click here (or the image itself) to enlarge the chart.

With the exception of about 90 individuals, Government Exhibit P200336 contains photos of the men, women, and children who died as a result of the plot masterminded by Osama bin Laden.

Thanks to the efforts of an elite team of American forces, Osama bin Laden will soon have criminal charges formally dismissed against him in federal court in New York City.

The al Qaeda leader was indicted in U.S. District Court in 1998 for his alleged role that year in a series of truck bombings at U.S. embassies in Africa (those attacks resulted in the death of more than 220 victims). An arrest warrant was first issued for bin Laden in November 1998, nearly three years before the September 11 terrorist attacks.

With bin Laden’s demise inside a walled compound outside the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, the Department of Justice will soon have to file a motion seeking dismissal of a mountain of felony charges against him.

There are better ways, of course, to beat a federal case.

Florida police are seeking a young man who stole two cases of Bud Light beer, but failed to successfully get the hot brew into a getaway car.

As seen in the above surveillance video, the clumsy thief took a comical pratfall Wednesday while fleeing the E-Z Food Store in Lake Wales. The suspect appears to have been undone by his low-slung jeans while sprinting toward a waiting Chevy Lumina.

If you recognize the beer thief (or his plaid boxers), give Heartland Crime Stoppers a call at 1-800-226-TIPS.

This morning’s White House release of President Barack Obama’s long form birth certificate will, of course, do little to derail the “birther” movement, which will now analyze the document with the kind of verve previously directed toward those Texas Air National Guard memos faxed to CBS from that Kinko’s in Abilene.

So here’s a few nutty points about the birth certificate sure to be seized upon by the nonbelievers:

    • If the original document was in a bound volume (as reflected by the curvature of the left hand side of the certificate), how can the green patterned background of the document's safety paper be so seamless?

    • Why, if Obama was born on August 4, 1961, was the “Date Accepted by Local Reg.” four days later on August 8, 1961?

    • What is the significance of the smudges in the box containing the name of the reported attendant?

    • David A. Sinclair, the M.D. who purportedly signed the document, died nearly eight years ago at age 81. So he is conveniently unavailable to answer questions about Obama’s reported birth.

    • In the “This Birth” box there are two mysterious Xs above “Twin” and “Triplet.” Is there a sibling or two unaccounted for?

    • What is the significance of the mysterious numbers, seen vertically, on the document’s right side?

    • Finally, the “Signature of Local Registrar” in box 21 may be a desperate attempt at establishing the document’s Hawaiian authenticity. Note to forgers: It is spelled “Ukulele.”

The Tennessee man who has admitted hacking Miley Cyrus’s e-mail and MySpace accounts is being debriefed by FBI agents as a prelude to him pleading guilty to unrelated federal criminal charges, according to a U.S. District Court filing.

In seeking a recent court continuance, the lawyer for Joshua Holly revealed that he and his 21-year-old client have met with an FBI case agent “for the purposes of a proffer” and that they needed extra time to “have a further meeting(s) to continue that proffer.”

The lawyer, Sumter Camp, noted in an April 14 affidavit that the proffer came as “a prelude to a settlement in this case.”

During a proffer session, a defendant can provide law enforcement officials with details of their criminal activity (and that of others), but those admissions cannot be used against them at trial. The proffer allows investigators to get a clear picture of what the defendant has to offer in exchange for a plea deal.

In Holly’s case, the debriefing sessions would likely touch on his extensive spamming and hacking escapades. When the FBI raided his Murfreesboro home in October 2008, Holly, who uses the online handle Train Req, told an agent that he often gained unauthorized access to “accounts belonging to celebrities” and used them to send out unauthorized spam messages. He targeted celebrities because the “high volume of Internet traffic they attracted" helped to cloak his illegal activities.

Holly, pictured in the above mug shot, did not return a voicemail message. Camp, a federal public defender, did not return a message left at his Nashville office.

    Meet Michael Podniestrzanski.

The Florida man, 23, was arrested last night after an argument over the new HBO fantasy show “Game of Thrones” turned violent.

As will happen during shows “based on medieval times,” Podniestrzanski and his cousin “got into a verbal altercation” over which of the cable program’s characters was going to win, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.

“Game of Thrones,” which premiered last Sunday night, is based on the first book in a series of “epic fantasy” novels written by George R.R. Martin.

With the argument between Podniestrzanski and Joshua Ross escalating, Podniestrzanski allegedly “took a swing at” his kin. After scuffling for a bit, Podniestrzanski’s cousin “ended up getting thrown in to the front window during the altercation.”

Podniestrzanski was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery and transported to the county jail, where he is currently being held.

UPDATE: Brown was busted for assault last year at same McDonald’s

    Meet Teonna Monae Brown.

The 18-year-old is facing assault charges for allegedly beating a woman in a Maryland McDonald’s (video of the brutal attack went viral late last week).

Brown, who lives several blocks away from the Baltimore-area eatery, was arrested Friday on three assault counts in connection with the April 18 assault of Chrissy Lee Polis, 22. A second alleged assailant, who is 14, has been charged as a juvenile.

Brown is pictured above in a mug shot released this morning by the Baltimore County Police Department. She is being held in the Baltimore County Detention Center in lieu of $150,000 bail.

A District Court filing reveals that Brown’s own sister approached cops to report that her sibling “had just told her that she assaulted a woman at the McDonald’s located at 6315 Kenwood Avenue.” Deshawn Brown added that her sister told her that the juvenile suspect “was with her and assaulted the woman too.”

In a police interview, the 14-year-old suspect admitted that she had been at the fast food restaurant with her friend Brown, and that they “both got into a fight with a woman over using the bathroom.”
