Prison Food Hits New Low

DECEMBER 1--Meet Anthony Paduano.

The 31-year-old habitual thief (he's swiped DVDs, steaks, shrimp, credit cards, copper, and a gumball machine) is facing a reckless endangerment rap for some gross hijinks last month at an upstate New York prison.

According to a Niagara County Sheriff's Department report, Paduano, um, illegally seasoned the fish sandwich of Troy Saraf, a fellow inmate. Poor Saraf, who's serving time for petty larceny, apparently consumed part of the spiked meal and was treated for exposure to the tainted additive.
