Actress Shailene Woodley was arrested in October 2016 during a protest near the Dakota Access Pipeline site in North Dakota. Woodley, one of 27 protesters arrested by police, was charged with criminal trespass and participating in a riot. The performer, 24 at the time of her bust, subsequently pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation.
