Abby Wambach

Soccer star Abby Wambach was arrested in April 2016 for drunk driving. Wambach, 35, was pulled over after driving through a red light in Portland, Oregon. She was arrested after failing field sobriety and breath tests. In a Facebook post, Wambach--who subsequently pleaded guilty to a DUI charge--apologized to fans. “I take full responsibility for my actions. This is all on me,” Wambach wrote. “I promise that I will do whatever it takes to ensure that my horrible mistake is never repeated.”
