MAY 19--Along with posting the contemporaneous mug shots of public figures who get busted, TSG also researches and tracks down previously unseen booking photos of famous arrestees. The newest additions to our never-before-published collection are James Brown and Jane Fonda. Brown, pictured here, is seen in a December 1988 South Carolina Department of Corrections photo taken after the late singer was convicted on assault and weapons possession charges. Fonda, pictured here, was busted in November 1970 at the Cleveland airport for allegedly trying to smuggle a large stash of pills into the country from Canada (charges were eventually dropped). Fonda's famous 'clenched fist' mug shot was snapped a day after this newly discovered photo was taken. The Brown and Fonda shots join our roster of unearthed photos featuring all-stars like David Bowie; Janis Joplin; John Gotti; Jimi Hendrix; Johnny Cash; Martin Luther King Jr.; Rosa Parks; Andre the Giant; Tupac Shakur; and Vincent 'Chin' Gigante.
