Cops: Three pounds of Polish links hurled in Florida dispute

JUNE 30--Meet Gregory Praeger. The Florida man, 46, is facing a battery charge for allegedly striking his mother in the head with a pack of Polish sausage. Praeger flung the three-pound package during an argument Saturday night, according to a DeLand Police Department report. The woman, who told cops that her son had been drinking at the time of the dispute, was grazed with the sausage, but not harmed. In an interview with cops, Praeger, pictured below in a mug shot snapped at the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, admitted pulling the pork stunt. (3 pages)
