This past weekend marked the 30th anniversary of the death of Senator Robert F. Kennedy, who was assassinated as he walked through a Los Angeles hotel following a stirring victory in the June 1968 California presidential primary. While we have many documents detailing the murder and its aftermath, we're instead posting this sweet letter RFK wrote to his parents shortly after joining the Navy in 1945. (6 pages)
