No Deal With "The Devil"
Jacko accuser's mom says it's not about the Benjamins
JULY 8--The mother of the California boy who has accused Michael Jackson of sexual abuse called the singer "the Devil" and rejected accusations that she fabricated the molestation tale because, the woman claimed, she did not want to take "the Devil's money." Excerpts from the woman's testimony before a Santa Barbara County grand jury were included in a motion filed by Jackson's lawyers seeking the dismissal of criminal charges against the King of Pop. Jackson's legal team pointed to the mother's remarks as evidence that District Attorney Thomas Sneddon improperly elicited testimony spiked with "impassioned and prejudicial remarks." Below you'll find an excerpt from the defense motion containing the "Devil" remarks. While many names have been removed from the heavily redacted motion, there can be little doubt that the witness making the satanic allusions is the alleged victim's mother. (1 page)
