This is the graphic and harrowing account of the murder of James Byrd Jr., who was recently dragged to his death by three men in Jasper, Texas. This police affidavit was filed in support of an arrest warrant for the trio, whose alleged connections to the Ku Klux Klan are reportedly being probed by federal investigators. (7 pages)
