Teddy Ballgame's Frozen Note

Ted Williams and two of his children entered into a bizarre pact to freeze themselves after their deaths, according to a handwritten note and court documents filed today (7/25) in Florida's Citrus County Circuit Court by the Splendid Splinter's son John Henry and daughter Claudia. According to the Williams offspring, the baseball star executed the below note in November 2000, nearly four years after signing a will stating that he wanted to be cremated and have his ashes "sprinkled at sea off the coast of Florida." The Williams children claim that the note was drafted "during a tender moment" in a Gainesville, Florida hospital prior to the Hall of Famer undergoing a surgical procedure. If you're wondering about those marks on the note, a lawyer for the Williams children says they are oil stains, not singe marks. (2 pages)
